I was looking for a wireless lighting solution that would provide enough light for a small bedroom, similar to an adjustable night light. I didn't want the power cords hanging up the wall and there wasn't an easy way to install an electric light fixture to power a regular lamp, so this seemed like a good choice to me and I bought two of these lights . Controlling the lights is very easy: just insert 3 C batteries and you're good to go. The lamp can be mounted on a wall with a flat surface. Assembly is very simple: there is a plastic plate that screws onto a flat surface and you slide the lamp assembly onto the plastic plate. If the problem lies in using screws, you can glue the bottom plate and put the lamp assembly on it. In any case, the surface must be flat, otherwise the lamp unit will not slide on the plate. At the moment I have no idea how long the batteries will last with the bulbs running at full 100% brightness, but these are LED bulbs so they will likely last a good number of hours before needing to be replaced. I was happy to see that the remote control for one lamp actually worked both lamps, which in my case was perfectly normal because I will be using it in one place and for one purpose. It would be a little cumbersome to have to use two different remotes so turning on both lights with one remote really saves time and effort. However, if you plan to use more than one lamp for different purposes, note that one remote control may or may not control the other lamp(s). Lamps at various fixed percentages of full or 100% (full). Each lamp also has a physical button on the lamp to turn the light on and off and easily dim it, which is also useful if you've lost the remote or don't want to use it. controls (either you lose it or it breaks). The brightness of the lamp could be a little better. But for my use they will serve a purpose. If you use them to light a picture then they are perfect. The light is hard white. It would be nice if the lamp came with a warm color frame for warmer light. Otherwise these are great lights to use if you need a fully wireless solution and don't need the brightness to be very high. Note that the brightness of the lamp is affected by the color of the wall it is installed on. Dark colors tend to absorb light, making the lamp appear dimmer than it actually is. Also, I highly recommend these lamps if you need a cordless, modest room lighting solution to illuminate your framed paintings.
