**UPDATE** A week later the digital temperature stopped working. After 15 minutes of warming up, the temperature did not rise above 197 degrees. It was still hot enough to straighten my hair, so I guess it was just the numbers that broke. When I first tried the YinQin Professional Hair Straightener, I thought it was broken. I pressed the power button a couple of times but it didn't turn on. Then my husband sarcastically told me to hold the button longer. And it worked! I set it to the max setting of 230 and liked that as it heats up you can see the numbers going from 0 to 230. I have other flat irons that feel hotter, but it was nice not feeling like my hair was roasting. I was concerned about the control buttons on the grip that I would accidentally change settings, but I didn't have that problem. When I blow dry my hair it's pretty straight but I have to straighten it to straighten it and keep the frizz away. This hair straightener did just that.
