UPDATE: I find these scissors almost useless for cutting as scissors. The notch on a blade makes it difficult to cut properly. It is normal to cut in the crease with the scissors, with her you can only cut with the tips of the scissors. Other devices don't interfere with cutting, but this notch on the blade does. Too bad, after all, I berate these scissors every time I use them. Don't buy them to use as scissors, buy them if you need non-Inspector Gadget scissors :) ORIGINAL REVIEW: These PQS scissors do everything from opening a bottle to slicing a chicken to peeling a fish and peeling an apple. to tighten the loose screw. But who really needs kitchen scissors to do all that and then compromise on cutting? You can't slide something too far into the V of the scissors as it won't cut. This is because there is a cut out section in this area which I believe is for cutting out part of the chicken. I wish this gadget section didn't exist as I keep putting something back for cutting and it doesn't cut. The end of these scissors is very sharp, so there is a high chance of cutting yourself when peeling a fish or apple. Multi-gadget scissors seem attractive until you realize how sharp they are and how easy it would be to cut yourself with scissors for other uses. We have a 40ft boat and I wanted to use them on the boat because we don't have a lot of equipment available in our galley. They can be disassembled for easy cleaning. You'll easily cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, as long as you don't set the meat too far. I love that a blade can be used as a knife when the scissors are separated. The magnetic holder is convenient and practical. The Revain listing says they're dishwasher safe, but the packaging doesn't say how to clean them. I love these scissors but they won't cut plastic bags or paper if you push them too far in the scissors. 5 stars for the sharpness, but 4 stars overall because I don't like an area in the V-neck.
