Great slicer for most hard cheeses

Impressed. Like Apple, they say they're made in China and designed in Holland. I like the one piece lightweight look. It replaces a similar two-piece plane where the razor has started to separate from the handle. I only read the negative reviews after the food slicer was on its way. Here's what I think: • It's not too little; You can get a slice in the middle of a hard cheese exactly one slice wide. If you want it wider, please read the product specifications; • He is perceptive. There is blue tape to prevent cuts. It's a jagged cut, very durable and repeatable; • Best suited for cheeses from Gouda to Parmesan. Your British cheddar and the like (as well as US, South Pacific, New England and the like cheddar) will always crumble. Guess what? Thin slices of these cheeses aren't the best way to taste them. Instead, use a knife to cut them into blocks. • This razor works best on smooth cheeses that DO NOT crumble and sometimes hard cheeses. Its serrated blade stays sharp enough to get the job done for years. • Using the full body lever gives poor results. Simply spread gently over the cheese to create thin and fragrant slices.
