Sharp and shiny cutlery and knife accessories

I have a collection of Shun knives and I use them in the kitchen every day. Shuns are expensive, but they hold a blade, and Shun's knife sharpener will have you sharpening a blade in seconds. The Brever 8: Professional Chef Knife is a nice addition to my other knives. WHAT I LOVE: - Great value damascus chef knife - Nice looking packaging - Comes with sheath. Use it. He was razor sharp out of the box and lifted the hair from my arm. WHAT I DID NOT: Advertised as a Japanese knife but made in China. It's not bad, but I find the packaging a bit misleading. Not as good a knife as Shun BUT its price is about 1/3 the cost. CONCLUSION: This is a decent knife with good features. balance and is instantly razor sharp. It stays sharp thanks to my Shun knife sharpener. Be careful with that blade. I cut my nail and he immediately shaved the side off. The price is right if you want to try a Japanese style chef's knife.
