Review on πŸͺ“ Pneumatic Orbital Grinding and Sanding Polisher by Leon Johnsson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much better than expected.

I have used the same industrial orbital sander for the last 15 years. These were 3 meter models, now no longer for sale, all metal and intended for continuous use. It was over $300 back then. Well all good things come to an end, it's finally given up and I'm not working as hard as I used to. Also, I have a steady income and I can't pump that kind of money right now. So I bought it after some hesitation as I was worried about the quality. It was in packaging which definitely indicates it wasn't made in the USA. I don't like velcro so I have a sticky pad for that. I've already had around 15 hours of heavy use and I have to say I'm impressed. Low vibration, doesn't suck my compressor dry. I have a large commercial air compressor, 80 gallon, 7 hp, but it turns on and off with constant use of the grinder. It works very similar to my previous very expensive 3m. It feels great in the palm of your hand, it continues to work even with a lot of pressure and it works much better than expected. It is used for sanding paint, bondo and fiberglass, and for repairing base bodies. I don't use wood so I can't rate it. However, I think this grinder is worth the money and I recommend it as a quality and durable grinder.
