Yes, I said so. I have 1.5 of these 7 "Used Makita cut-off wheels to cut a 30" tank out of 1/2" steel. It took about 30 minutes to complete and I was seriously impressed with the durability of these discs. the same precise cut with a 5" grinder with a combination of 4-1/2" HF discs, 5" Benchmark abrasives and 4-1/2 Makita cut-off wheels. It took me HOURS to do it on these smaller wheels and the HF and Benchmark were almost total rubbish. I'm glad I bought and tried the Makita 7 inch wheels for the second time.
