Review on Daytona Helmets D1 BNS Motorcycle X Large by David Carmody

I usually wear HJC full face helmets. In preparation for a side-by-side mountain ride, I wanted a half-helmet to increase airflow (and I'm in a roll cage). I bought both this and the HJC half helmet with full expectation of returning this one. As it turned out, it was a lot lighter than the HJC helmet, had a better buckle system, and adjustable straps to take pressure off the ears. I did feel some pressure in a few spots, but the hard compression permanently deformed the foam and eliminated the discomfort. There was nothing wrong with the helmet. It was just shaped for a slightly different head shape than mine. The helmet was warmer than nothing, but comfortable to wear even in 90 degree weather.
