I used them to modify the drywall sander vacuum hose. The original setup had a built-in 15-foot power cord that got tangled during use and during shipping. I used braided braid to cover both the vacuum hose and the power cord. The CNLINKO connector allowed me to separate the hose and power cord for easier portability. Works great, solder is easy to work with if you have basic soldering skills. The connectors can take a little abuse without breaking. I particularly like the simple but effective connection lock that keeps the power cord plugged in during use and can be unplugged with a simple push of a button. I first bought one of these along with several other power connectors from other manufacturers to test. . I chose them for their solid feel, well thought out assembly process (check out the short video, it's way better than any printed guide!) and also for their compact size. I ended up buying a few more to retool the rest of our drywall sanders.
