Matches my Harbor Frieght DA for anyone who wants to know. It didn't ruin the back of my cutting pad when I took it off. The velcro seems to be a lot softer than the one on the Harbor Freight DA, which probably lengthens the base of the liner since it's not as rough. I've been using it for over 4 hours and haven't had any problems with it. I didn't even have to draw with a marker as there is an inscription on the back so you can tell if it's spinning or not. 5" baseplate fits 5.5" chemically braced foam pads. I also bought Meguiar's 5" microfiber pads which also fit nicely on the baseplate. Excellent purchase! I'm glad I went for the more expensive baseplate. It's an additional $8. I'm considering 3" for that getting into tighter spots on my machine simply because I feel like I can control those areas better with something smaller. Otherwise the 5" worked great and I think has turned out to be a really good size.
