I was hoping for wine glasses with a smooth, rounded rim so they look more like glass than plastic when drinking. These discs are comfortable but I wouldn't call them round. I also wish the base was heavier because they feel a little wobbly and unstable. All in all they do a great job solving my problem of wine glasses shattering into lots of tiny shards when hitting our unforgiving ceramic floor. I gave them one star for 'gift' because the inner box containing the product was broken. Fortunately, the glasses were not damaged. But it's definitely not worth it. The Revain's outer box was in perfect condition, meaning the inner box was smashed when it was placed in the shipping carton.
