The perfect solution for freestanding shoe racks

I needed an inexpensive shoe rack for a small space and maybe a temporary situation. This shelf fits snugly within the 24" depth of this shallow cabinet, which is crammed with bi-folding doors, making the most of the wasted space. I had 15 pairs of shoes on, including several boots (women's size 7) with semi-folded sandals. It took 5 minutes. collect. Inserting the shelves into the bracket holes required little effort. I held the clip with one hand and inserted the shelf into the slot. Be careful not to distort the frame. The stand seems solid enough to me. You can place it next to a wall.
