We have an old Fiskars circle cutter. Personally not my favorite and then I found another Fiskars trimmer. It's the blade that works with it. I'm in love. Like day and night when I use it. I make handmade postcards as well as books and magazines so I use a lot of blades, love the ease of swapping out old ones for new ones. And I don't throw away my old ones, they get used too! I just mark with a marker. If you've ever done an aged edge then keep these blades, they may not quite work but they will certainly get you started. Works great on chipboard to piss him off. These blades CUT chipboard, I use a medium weight, I stroke the blade 3 times, then turn the chipboard over and stroke the blade twice. I would love to buy them in bulk for a good price, it would be worth it as I'm going through so much. Fiskars should develop a recycling program for them, somehow melt the plastic and melt the metal, it should be better than just throwing it away. I have a box full of used blades.
