Great addition to Gen 1 Xterra

I bought these to replace the ones on my Xterra as I bought it used and didn't know how long the current ones would last. That. The previous owner was a smoker so I wanted to throw out the old ones in case they contained carcinogens. SURPRISE, Gen 1 Xterra (2002) does not come with filters in the HVAC system. To install them you need to cut a slot in the heater/air conditioner block and insert them. Not as easy as just pulling out the old ones and replacing them with new ones, but not that hard if you're good with the Equator or Razer utility knife. I cut the slots per the instructions, removed all the leaves and dirt that was stuck in my heater/AC unit and was able to put them in. I like them as I'm sure they help with some dust here in the desert when I turn on the AC but to be honest when driving on 4 wheels I like the windows open, so that a lot of dust still gets in. Excellent value for money and quality. I will order again if I need to replace them.
