I've been wearing AVIA cross training shoes for a long time. They fit well and are very light. Support them. I think that in a year or two I will be buying new sports insoles. In fact, I keep my AVIAs until they wear out, which is about 4 years of my use. (I usually have two or three pairs at a time: casual wear, working out, and gardening. In four years, a pair of shoes goes through three stages in a shoe's life.) The prices for a shoe this good are great. (BTW: I wear a size 8 1/2 mens. I wear Merrell's Moab Ventilator Low in winter and Salomon XA Pro 3D trail running for hiking. I use size 8 1/2 for everyone, although Salomon shoes are a bit on those small side.) on the toe.)
