Light, comfortable. Today I wore them on my bike in the rain for the first time. Holds up fairly well with light filling, ok with moderate filling. First only slightly impregnate the lower hands, after a long, moderate pouring then the upper hands. If that were all, I would stay 75% dry in this jacket for about 90 minutes in the rain. Last time she slipped down badly and within 5 minutes she was completely soaked. So yes, water resistant and good for keeping you mostly dry when riding in light rain, of course for a while in moderate rain. but not stronger things. Again, there is no such promise and if I had a more waterproof jacket on my trip I would switch.
