I had problems lowering the dishwasher door. In short, there are spring and roller systems on either side of the door that usually hold them in place and give you some flexibility to partially open or close the door. The nylon cord that is part of the pulley system broke on one side. I found a video on the internet that showed me what was going on. I bought this kit and was able to quickly replace the old cable with the new one from this kit. Although I didn't have to change the pulleys, since they were included I was able to do so. The only part that was a little tricky was hooking the end of the cord into the spring on the side of the dishwasher. It was all the way back and access wasn't very good. I was finally able to hook it onto the spring with a pair of long needlenose pliers. Once I hooked it up, the rest was pretty easy. I think I easily saved a few hundred dollars with this fix. Good parts at a very reasonable price. If you have enough hands, you can do it.
