In the beginning I needed scissors just to avoid going to the salon for a simple hair dye. My hair is very long and thick and while it's really difficult to maintain and annoying at times, it's the cutting and conditioning that keeps it as healthy as possible. I was very impressed with this purchase. The scissors are very well made and as soon as I received the package I started experimenting. I started with split ends first and the scissors literally slipped where I needed to cut. The thinning scissors were a little intimidating because I'm no expert, but I watched a short YouTube video and was blown away by the difference. I cut about an inch and a half in total, and to be honest, good quality salon scissors make a world of difference. Of course, not being an expert, all you have to do is triple check that everything is smooth and how you want it to look. The set also includes two clips for parting and parting your hair, which is especially handy if your hair is as long and thick as mine. Also included was a small comb. Overall very impressed with the quality and I look forward to using them from now on.
