When it comes to air coolers I hear you choose Scythe or Noctua out of the park while everyone else goes for AIO. I prefer air coolers as they tend to be more reliable and reach thermal equilibrium faster. I also had a hard time choosing a Corsair 200R air cooler for my first gaming PC build, but I didn't look any further. This 120mm tower cooler pairs perfectly with a hardened steel sideplate to deliver uncompromising 120mm cooling. It has reduced the idle temperature of my i7-10700K to 47°C compared to any stock Intel cooler and keeps temperatures below 70°C under the most intense workloads. I am very pleased with the look, fit, finish, quality and performance of this cooler.
