I had the first good knife

I'm by no means a knife expert. Every knife I had before was just a cheap kitchen knife I found at a random store for around $30-$50. These knives were not very sharp at first, but quickly dulled and became quite dangerous even in use. I struggled to make dinner and it just wasn't good. So I bought this knife and wow it's nice and sharp. Hold it like a Schrodinger blade. On the one hand, it seems extremely dangerous to hold on at all because one wrong move and I'll cut my hand or rip off my finger. but on the other side (the one that isn't sliced) it feels very solid and very balanced and it slices food so easily which makes cooking MUCH safer. I gently run the blade through everything like clockwork. How effective is this knife? I would say 100%. It's nice to hold in your hands. He's a good weight. You can feel the quality just by holding it in your hands. Also very easy to clean. The only thing that bothered me about buying such a fashionable knife was the service. I have no idea how to keep a knife sharp, how to properly care for a knife or anything like that. So I was kind of elated when I bought a small, basic knife sharpener from Amazon that only pierces the blade a few times. I've used it on the knife a few times so far but to be honest I didn't even need it. The blade is still sharp even after a few months of daily use. It's no fuss, no fuss, razor sharp that gets the job done. I'm very happy with it and glad I finally spent some extra money on a quality kitchen knife. It makes shredding a pleasure.
