I am very satisfied with this tray. Having had close to a dozen cats over a twenty year period I can say with confidence that this is the best litter box in its price range and I would say one of the best litter boxes on the market. It's big yet compact. It's the perfect square shape to fit any wall. The transparent plastic flap door eliminates almost all the unpleasant smell of the litter box. (If you can teach your cats to use a door, I highly recommend you do so, as you can store this tray anywhere you like.) If you don't need a door, it can be easily removed from the box, using a large one Square hole remains to allow cats of all sizes to get into the box. The crate requires a small step for an adult cat, about half a step, and I've never had a cat that couldn't climb that step. If you have a cat that acts like a Persian and can only stand on the edge of the litter box, you can use the bottom half of the litter box or position the litter box so the cat can use the large door to stand on it. I can't think of any reason why your cat couldn't use this litter box. I'm willing to pay over $35 for this tray. So if you find one at a lower price, be sure to buy it. I could use this box for quite a while; The plastic is engineered to repel odors. When used in conjunction with toilet bags, the box does not absorb the smell of urine. The box would be worth its price for that alone, but the fact that the box also has a great swing door and large format makes it even more valuable. This is an incredibly well-made tray at an affordable price; I know you will be as excited about this purchase as I am!
