Scrub plate on the iron?.
The iron does what it says on the tin: it gets nice and hot. As a natural African American, I was glad I could straighten my hair. I also like that it came with a thermal glove. However, I was never able to give the full star as the pink paint on the iron plates started peeling off after 2 days of use. I leave pink flakes in my hair. I've never had an iron like this before. So kinda cheap.
