Amazing quality. The last CamelBak lasted 20 years!

My husband loves CamelBak Moisture Packs, he's a big fan of them. I ordered the CamelBak Octane 18 Multisport Hydration Pack - 70 oz. to replace his current CamelBak and found that the current package has lasted over 20 years! There is something to be said for the amazing quality. This new CamelBak is based on the same hose suction method, but the details are now almost perfect. The design of the backpack, the fit, the pockets and storage space, the closures offer functionality for a reason. The front attachments are on a slide rail system. There's even a built-in whistle. This particular bundle offers 70 oz. Water tanks, it is very flexible and compact, making it easy to store. Despite its small size, there is a large zipped compartment on the back (next to a water pocket) that offers plenty of storage space. One of the brilliant design elements of this model is the mesh-lined front vest that offers additional storage options. There is a small top pocket (to store a pair of sunglasses), a small vertical zip pocket for valuables, and pockets for power gel, phone, gloves and headphones. Generally a lot of quick access pockets, small and useful. This CamelBak model sits high on the back and chest, leaving the lower torso quite loose. Husband is super happy. The CamelBak tradition continues.
