Review on Lansky 4 Rod Turn Knife Sharpener by Julie Weigel

I use my knife at work three or four times a week - sometimes to sharpen a pencil, and sometimes to chop a room full of rugs into chunks. Almost all the knives I use are Kershaw because they suit my needs and budget better than brands like Gerber. When I learned how to sharpen a knife, it became absolute overkill for sharpeners. I could have gotten away with a lot less but I still recommend the Lansky Turn Box and am very glad I have it. This system turns the knife into a clean, sharp blade in just a few pulls, and if you like doing things on your own then this system is for you. I like this system a lot more as a V-groove grinder because I'm no longer running or wandering around in the bush where simplicity is more important than form. (At home, I can afford a bit of complexity with this system.) One piece of advice I have is that it's important to clean the bars. The cleaner you keep your rods, the easier it is to keep a really sharp blade. Take care of your tools and they will take care of you.
