Review on πŸ’Ž DWS TF3M Diamond Tapered: Unveiling the Latest Trend in Cutting-edge Tool Technology by Rui Knain

Need to Break

I bought this after watching all the popular sharpening videos. It definitely doesn't work as they show in the video. I had a Smith diamond sharpening tool that I bought from Lowes 6 years ago that actually leaves a cleaner and sharper edge. It's really rough for 600 grit and leaves scratches on the edge. I can actually get a sharper knife by running it through a small plastic knife sharpener that the trending videos advise against! This goes with all of those {As Seen on TV} products. I'm a woodturner and use other diamonds and CBN products to sharpen my turning tools, so I'm not new to diamond sharpening. The white cleaning block actually cleans this sharpener but leaves a dirty, sticky film on the side of the 600 grit credit card sharpener. They should both be 600 grit, but the side of the 600 grit sharpener is much smoother and leaves a slightly better edge . better with age. Apparently these items have a break-in period where they are too aggressive when new. Now I can recommend this sharpener but I would use it on anything other than your thin bladed knives to break in.
