Pretty nice shade once installed. Bought two and followed the instructions, one installed easily and the other had some issues. The instructions were to measure the width and then after a small bleed at the measurement mark, rip the lampshade up to 'cut' it to the desired width. It worked fine with the first shade, but with the second shade when I "ripped" it the shade didn't tear evenly and when I got to the top it was 3/8" (wider) than the bottom. Am I ended up having to unroll the entire lampshade on the kitchen floor, measure and mark the side, and then cut it by hand with scissors.I've had similar lampshades in the past for about the same price but in slightly thicker material.When I lay them on the floor to roll them up, I feel I have to be extra careful when gently gripping the bottom plastic piece to make sure I don't accidentally stick my finger in or otherwise rip the bottom where it rotates.Plastic support rod You can't handle these shades In addition, they have a pleasant appearance and are good value for money.
