My JetDrive Lite has been connected to a 15 inch Retina Macbook Pro for a month now and probably the best I can say is I forgot it was in the slot was inserted. My two main concerns were that the card would protrude and be slow. It sits flush with the body but can be easily removed. In terms of performance, I had no issues with read/write speeds. I put a high-end flight sim on the hard drive and didn't notice any drop in frame rate. It was formatted for Mac OS X, but I reformatted it for journaling so Time Machine would automatically back it up. My only frustration is filling up my 64GB. If I had more confidence in performance, I would definitely go for 128GB.
