Revainrating 3 out of 5

Okay, but not Weathertechs.

Okay, let's finish the first part. If you're looking for something similar to Weathertech, this isn't it. Nothing compares to their quality, fit and durability (time will tell how they hold up). I've used them in four different cars and tried many other brands over the years. Always perfect fit, finish and durability. Now I knew they probably wouldn't be perfect, but the price difference was pretty significant. I also really liked the one-piece design of the rear seats. However, there were many positive reviews. So I bit the bullet and bought a set. I figured the savings alone would be enough to make up the difference with Weathertechs. If, and it's a big deal if you're looking for a set of floor mats built specifically for your car on a budget and don't care much about looks. and/or quality. These are mats for you no doubt. You can skip the rest of the review and click Buy Now. But if you have very high standards of appearance and quality. These may not be the mats for you. Fit first. I would probably give them a 6/10. I actually had to stretch them to fit the factory mounting points. When I took them out of the box I did what I do with many other rugs, ironing out the creases and letting them sit in the sun. It worked great so I recommend it. But with that said. The back is definitely not right. It's all wavy, there are big gaps in many places. I bought these to remove dog hair from my carpet and make cleaning easier. This can complicate the task as now she can easily sneak behind the carpet. Second, the material. I would give 8/10. It's not exactly weatherproof. He is very tough. Like Weathertech, it's a plastic rather than a rubber mat. So how can they get it to keep its shape? This is slightly different compared to Weathertech. Almost fragile feeling although it still flexes. The surface is also quite slippery. Especially when it's wet. Weathertech combats this by adding a rougher texture to the mold as it is manufactured. Works well. Only time will tell how they hold up compared to Weathertechs but I don't see a problem. Third design. I've seen several other reviews of people stating that the dead pedal should be larger. As a result, no dirt collects behind it. Honestly, it should be the whole carpet. Compare side by side with my Mazda CX-5 Weathertech floor mats. These sides are about half that height in many places. That leads me to believe in the winter months. All the snow under my boots is about to melt and splash overboard. Honda factory floor mats combat this by making deep grooves in their floor mats, and it honestly worked. So I'm not sure if it's going to be annoying or not. In summary, you get what you pay for. The only reason I gave it the rating I have is to help point people in the right direction. If you want perfection, buy Weathertech. If you want something that is 75% of what they have to offer, buy it. These are great savings and I can't wait to see how they hold up. Would I buy them again? Maybe for a cheaper car. But when you pay close to $40,000 for a car these days. You kind of want the best accessory to go with it.
