First of all I have to admit that I haven't had a mastectomy. I'm just almost perfectly flat by nature and regular bra pads don't look good on me as I think they need at least some breast tissue to push up. I wanted small, thin, realistic breast forms for swimsuits and they seemed like a good price. Time will tell if they are strong. This is my main problem with this type of product. So far they look great and feel like you would expect from any gel bra insert. They are comfortable but no different than other gel bra pads I have used before.
