My 2 year old is really tall and wears 3-4T clothes. I took the 3T which fits as expected. I first ordered 3 different dresses for her to try on for the wedding as a guest. At first, she immediately began to break down and complain. It was the second. She refused to take it off until it was bedtime. I had to throw it in the washer and dryer (which isn't recommended, but for $15 it dries). It's incredibly soft. The balaclava gets stuck in the shorts a bit, so don't expect your little one to look picturesque without constant pull-ups. Plus it's absolutely amazing and I'll be buying more of these. My daughter called it her "princess dress!" If it falls apart in the next few washes in the washing machine, I'll try to remember to renew it. I can understand the air drying recommendations, but I wash almost all clothes in cold water. I don't have time to dry clean the baby's dress.
