My little dog likes to stand on the center console but falls off easily (especially when cornering). This part now gives her a good footing and she can only slide backwards instead of falling behind the seats. This may not have been the intended use for this article, but it works for us! I've had it in my car for over a month now and it hasn't had to be re-inflated (which was a very quick action to begin with). I have an old Subaru Forester and it fits perfectly.
