I bought this tool because I am a kitchen knife enthusiast and sharpening my knives is a difficult process. I have over $2,000 worth of high quality water stones that have taken me years of practice to use effectively. This simple tool allows me to achieve the same effective sharpness for less and in a much simpler process. The best thing about this tool is that you can set the sharpening angle you want and never have to worry about which angle is wrong. The main brace can be rotated 180 degrees, allowing you to easily sharpen the other side without taking it apart. The build quality is excellent, the stones are good too. My only complaint is that setting it up and sharpening the knife is quite a labor intensive process, but if you want professional sharpness it will always be labor intensive. use. I am happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this product to anyone who takes sharp knives seriously!
