Took it in place of Star Wars lasers. It seems silly to buy something that you could make yourself, but right now I don't have a tennis ball, three little eyes and a thin string that are in my garage. I wanted the ball to retract to the side and attach to the sectional garage door, but the instructions say a very high ceiling is required. However, there is a workaround that worked for me. Simply tie a small washer on the side of the garage door to the first eye coming out of the car to restrict movement. Then place another eye just behind the opening of the door. The extra rope hangs a bit when the door is open, but it doesn't affect anything. Good luck with your application.
