Review on 💦 Watts Premier Permeate Pump: Complete Install Kit for Optimal Performance (Model 560041) by Bryce Marshall

I installed a Watts 5 stage reverse osmosis collector system with booster pump for my parents. The system works great and has enough pressure for the fridge ice maker and faucet and the recovery rate is very fast compared to no booster pump. However, my parents complained that the damn thing wasted so much water in the process. I added a permeate pump (keeping the booster pump) and the water usage was reduced by at least a factor of 5, if not more. The permeate pump is purely mechanical and generates quite a bit of noise and vibration. I found it easier to install on a solid piece of wood. Depending on how you installed your reverse osmosis system, the hose that came with it may not be long enough. The price is worth it.
