Review on TUSA BA 0103 Mesh Backpack Black by Gerald Duncan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works, but. for outdoors

Slightly disappointed with this tusa backpack compared to other tusa bags i have in terms of capacity. I wish they would just make a hybrid bag. a wheeled backpack would be great! IDK - may just be a personal preference, but both are necessary in my opinion. I thought a top/side zip would be better than a drawstring, but a fully open "flap" weighs more than a net, so when packing with the bag upright and fully open. Gravity kicks in and pulls the bag down, requiring you to keep lifting the bag and zipper to keep anything from falling out. I ended up putting up a counterweight to keep the bag upright while packing - I used a 5-50 line attached to the grab handle and then attached to the boat where I placed my bag - this helped a lot, to keep the bag in a vertical position. how I repacked. Because the bag is slightly tapered (the bottom is larger than the top), you'll need to plan your packing accordingly. I like to pack backwards, I unpack to minimize the footprint on the boat, can't always make it the way I want using this bag but close enough.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • hard to say
