Chair seat tilted down

Bought this chair for my son as a gift for the New Year. He has experience assembling furniture, but he had trouble with this chair. Where the armrests meet the seat and backrest, they fit snugly. Although it was just a minor annoyance. The seat of the chair is a real problem. It falls down so you feel like you're slipping on the floor. My son said it pulled up his pants and now I'm looking for another chair. He's 5ft 11in tall, weighs 148lbs and had no problem lowering his chair as some have mentioned.
