Our 9 year old puts his feet in when he goes (we have a small hobby farm) and kicks them out when he comes back. He's outside, his feet stay warm (he often walks barefoot when he feeds his horses), which is new to him because he really doesn't like the cold! Wash with a little soap on a washcloth. We were in -9°F with 50 mph wind gusts and 2 feet of snow plus frozen mud puddles on the ground. It never came because it was cold. 9 years old and we couldn't store it inside.
