After years of using those crappy Phillips Norelco clippers and trying to use my parents Conair clippers that broke my ears, I finally decided I'd had enough of the Chinese junk and bought those Made in my home state of Illinois. You are very calm. If the bathroom door is closed, you probably won't even hear it in the other room. My mom's ear sounds like a goddamn weed trimmer, and I had to wear earbuds to use it.+ The comb is actually very nice and durable. I was expecting cheap junk. + Tons of oils and accessories. The oil will probably outlive me considering how little you really need to use. Doesn't pull or anything. + Has a really good weight and excellent maneuverability. - I understand we're getting a quality device for the price, but for home use/storage it would be nice to have some sort of carrying case or hard case. . Wouldn't add that much to the price. I cut the sides of the plastic tray that came in the box to fit my drawer. - It's just a nitpick, but the device doesn't heat up, it just heats up. Warm enough to make your hands sweat a little. Instead of using a sleek chrome finish on the case, it would have been nice if they added some texture to it to give it a better grip without having to worry about fingers slipping. In general I am satisfied with them. I will update if anything changes.
