I currently have 2 Cutco knives and love the weight and handles but unfortunately the utility knife doesn't cut straight. I need an everyday knife that cuts straight. Decided to try these. I didn't like how light they were, but I liked how sharp and straight they were. When I used a Cutco knife for onions and tomatoes, I reached for other knives to thinly slice ginger etc. It took me a while to get used to these knives as they are so light but they supersede very quickly all other knives. in my kitchen. Undoubtedly the best everyday knives! By the way, I'm 5'1" and have small hands so these knives are just the right size. Others are too big for me.
