Review on Catit Litter Scoop Warm Gray by Chris Perez

Let me start by saying that this scoop has been specifically designed to be used with CRYSTAL cat litter. Any negative feedback from people using the clumping litter who didn't read the description before ordering this scoop or maybe didn't understand how big the holes are (I can put my pinky in bigger ones). That being said, it's a must when using crystal litter, especially larger crystals as they are larger and won't fall through the slots of a regular litter box. This thing is BIG, shockingly large, with a very deep profile on the actual "spoon" part. This is actually very nice as you can pick up and sift through a lot of dirt instead of having to do multiple passes. As I mentioned earlier, the holes in this scoop are large, which allows it to be used for crystal fillers. Trash everywhere, I can just put a scoop on my Litter Genie (which by the way saves me money since with crystal fillers I don't need as many bag fillers - just poop, not huge clumps of pee)!). I am currently using Petco brand crystal filler which has very large crystals and fits perfectly into the holes in these shovels. The only problem that ever arises is when a small piece of excrement separates from another, larger piece as it can fall through the large holes in the scoop, but this is easily corrected by smashing the small piece with the corner of the shovel is raised. scoop and throw away. Five stars because this product works exactly as promised and it's the only one I've seen.
