I've spent days looking for the right wreath to add a festive touch to fall - I live in an apartment where the doors are a special maroon are painted (and we're not allowed to change it) ), so finding something that doesn't clash or overpower the color of the door is an added challenge. Also, I'm pretty picky about the types of wreaths I like - I really prefer the ones that are so realistic you can't tell they're fake, not symmetrical, not vulgar (I can't stand tulle ribbons) , no flashy embellishments - so I need some time for the screening process. I thought I had found the perfect solution in Balsam Hill's catalogue, but when I went to their website everything was sold out. Then I saw this one and thought it would be a suitable replacement. Unfortunately, when I opened the box and saw the colorful striped pumpkins, shiny silk leaves, and VERY plastic stems on all the pumpkins, I knew right away that this wasn't for me. It's not terrible - it's definitely a step above what you can find at Dollar Tree and maybe a half step better than what's available at Michael's - but the pictures don't really show how wrong it is. If you just want something bright, colorful and autumnal for your door then this will certainly do, but if you like a realistic decoration this is not for you.
