DAILYCOMB Heavy Duty Kitchen Scissors - Multi Purpose Scissors Best for Poultry, Fish, Seafood, Herbs, Vegetables, Meat and BBQ (Black/White) I have this pair of kitchen scissors to cut my to meet kitchen needs, although I don't typically use them to cut poultry or fish. I use for plant life, from the garden, flowers, vegetables, for cutting fresh herbs. So I don't get these scissors so dirty that they have to be cleaned (or disinfected) for a long time. However, I was positively surprised by the weight of the scissors - they are designed for high loads and are also versatile and come with a good blade sheath. They have extra teeth between the handles (hopefully they're strong enough to crack nuts, but they're not). They would be effective on crab shells, however, and there is a bottle opener.
