Excellent security camera for my small apartment! A few things to note: The camera should ONLY be connected to the router during installation. The small light under the router icon on the camera should blink green three times when the camera is properly connected. The small light under the Wi-Fi icon will blink red because you haven't set up Wi-Fi yet. Follow the instructions on the card to set up a camera account and connect it to WiFi. Once everything is set up, the light under the 'wifi' icon should be blinking green. Now you can disconnect the camera from the router and install it anywhere in your home! Turning it off to move the camera from one location to another didn't mess things up. To configure camera settings, open the MIPC app, tap and hold a screenshot on the camera list screen. A menu appears with settings, entries and deletion. Click "Settings" to change the settings. My favorite way of using the camera is to go to Settings > Alarm Action and turn on the "Turn on alarm" button when I leave the apartment. So the alarm will go off when I'm gone. When I get home I turn off the alarm. Easy. My alarm clock has rang a few times. It doesn't call the police or anything, but you get an image and a record of what the camera is looking at. If someone hacked or stole the camera, you still have those things in the app. I had to adjust the motion sensitivity several times, but everything works great!
