This is a tiny air pump with a lot of power. It's quiet, easy to carry if you're fishing occasionally, and has multiple attachment options. The released bubbles make more noise than a pump. So calm. This is the perfect little pump to run a sponge filter in a small aquarium, to aerate a show tank during a competition, or to attach to a bucket when transporting fish to an auction or show. I also have a cobalt phantom. Comparing the two, I like the attachment options better on this one - the clip is great for a bucket, round container or tank with no rim, while the Cobalt just sticks to a flat surface. The included suction cup holds better than the suction cup on my Cobalt Phantom. Air performance, cable length and noise level are similar, but I find this pump a bit more versatile due to the mounting options. The only thing I would change is the length of the cord. 4-6 feet would be better and it would also be AMAZING to have a USB port that allows you to plug it into a car outlet (cigarette lighter) for long trips due to its portable size.
