Okay guys. When they arrived I was a little overwhelmed by the size and feel of the package. Just felt too flimsy even for water boots (expected more "shape" like sandals or even crocs, not just fabric on the sole). Let me tell you that I almost choked on my words as soon as I put them on to go to the pool. I honestly thought I'd thrown them in my bag because the path I'm walking to the pool is "rough terrain" and when I got there (after going through rocks, cracks and ditches) I made my way went looking for them and took off my shoes (literally everyone takes boots or sneakers and wears their own sandals but that's another review.) I was shocked to realize I had these shoes on. Obviously I'm not saying they have the same support. And yes I didn't want to risk my life twisting my ankle so I put my boots on when I was done but the way they hold and fit your foot is amazing. The sole is thick enough that I didn't detect any rocks (I have to say I don't really have sensitive feet, more just bad joints especially my ankle so others might notice it a bit more than I do) or heat from it terrain in my path. They took a little longer to dry than I expected, but I'm also a bit impatient and don't like wearing wet socks or shoes, so that probably affects me more than others. am 8/10. I lost my glasses because I had to fasten the stitching on one of the shoes where the thread was already pulling and I found the design to be a little bare on the back and side compared to how I find it in the pictures .
