Review on Amy Byer Halter Popover Dress for Girls - Accentuated Waistband with Decorative Trim by Deborah Lewis

I recently purchased an Amy Byer halterneck popover girls dress with ivory/black waist embellishment in a size 16.5 for my daughter's graduation. While the dress looked great on her, I had mixed feelings about the product as a whole. On the plus side, the dress has a sleek and modern design that's perfect for formal occasions. The strappy top and trim at the waist add a nice touch of sophistication to the dress. The materials used were of high quality and pleasant to the touch. Unfortunately the fit of the dress was quite difficult. A 16.5 seemed a little big for my daughter, although she falls into that range, and the dress tended to slide down the back, which annoyed her a bit. The dress could benefit from some additional support options to keep it in place. The dress also required a bit of ironing and maintenance to keep it looking good, and the black detailing on the dress had a tendency to quickly attract lint and dust. This meant it took a little more effort to keep the look than other dresses we've bought in the past. All in all, the Amy Byer girls' halterneck popover dress is a good choice for formal occasions, but it could benefit from some small tweaks in terms of fit and care. Given the limitations of the dress, I would only recommend it to others if they are willing to go the extra mile to take care of it.
