beautiful but brittle
As the name suggests, and also note that it barely holds a bottle. Interestingly, the "cabernet" version, which I remember being slightly larger, is more useful. I like it for its elegance but I don't expect it to last much longer than a wine glass ie. I see it collapsing in the relatively near future. It's easy to pour from it, which is a plus at the moment.
- Decant young wines a few hours before serving to allow the wine to bloom, decant older wines just a few minutes before so the clarity and brilliance of the wine isn't spoiled by sediment
