First unit, no video, audio only
My TV has both HDMI and composite video inputs. It allows me to connect my VCR directly to it with a V/L/R composite cable so I can easily watch my VHS tapes on my TV. I bought this unit to convert my VHS tapes which required Composite -> HDMI but it only worked through the audio channels (L/R). Tried multiple configurations and devices. I may have come across a defective one-off, so I'll update my review if my replacement works properly.
