For years, I mean literally years, my cat has been slightly overweight, about 13 pounds, but overall a big cat who poops on the floor next to her litter box. NO, it wasn't because I didn't scoop it. Even though it was fresh stuffing, new food and deodorant, she still pooped on the floor. Extremely annoying as you can imagine. One day a friend who had (and sadly still has) the same problem told me that she had bought this box and tried it. Doesn't matter! My cat LOVES this box. When I saw them in both boxes, I realized the original box was too small for them. She didn't have enough room to turn around and dig the way she wanted. The width of this box was just perfect for her! ;) I agree with other reviews that there is more dirt coming out of the box than I would like, but I had the same problem with my original box. And I'm sure any cat owner will agree that I'm better off sweeping or vacuuming the trash than picking up poop from the floor every day. GOOD PRODUCT!
