I wasn't planning on buying this but I'm glad I did. First, they don't look like Andis. I like to cut my own hair to save money and have been doing this for 4 years now. I decided to try them and my first thought when I got my hands on them was that they don't hit hard. But once I started pulling up, I was impressed. They hit hard straight away, I can't imagine what they would be like if I modified them. I recommend it as a basic trimmer. I only bought them because after 4 years my andis started to break down. I think I'll buy another one of these but they're good too and I'm glad I'm adding them to the collection.
